I sat down to write a post, but then realized that I have absolutely nothing to say.

Natalie's Hobyah story kind of took any witty things I may have had out of my mind.

It Could Only Be Pariahs

Yes, Pariah is now the name of a videogame. I saw it at WalMart. Obviously pariahs are becoming more and more socially accepted, as they find their way into even videogames. As you can tell from the size of that guy's gun, this game documents the violent past of the pariahs.

Hey!

Hey evrabody, I added a calendar to slightlyorangy.blogspot.com as well as feelingfruity.blogspot.com. They show everything coming up within our group of friends (or hopefully, if you guys tell me what's going on!) It's at the bottomw, by the way. That's about it. Oh, but I am also planning on putting Casterbridge up at Finding Sometimesland (findingsometimesland.blogspot.com) as long as that's ok. Oh, and we really need to plan our new movie :D

Well, I thought this was kinda funny.

So I was on Facebook just barely, looking at pictures of my friend Steve, and I saw this one. It was taken when Steve went to see Ragtime with his friends. It made me laugh a little bit.

Look at the girl in the background! Just look!

Yet Another Pariah Installment

This was in the LA Times this Monday. I'm not even making it up. Sorry the quality is bad though. I took the picture with my phone.

Need I say more?

Obviously sombreros + all hours of the night = altered personalities (and, in some cases, genders).

Utah Premier Brass

There's going to be a sweet concert this Sunday. I want to go but I'll be on my way to Disneyland. So, I'm just passing the word along. I think it would be worth everyone's time-a certain trombone playing pariah will be playing. Sightreading, actually. So, if you've got time, you all should go.

A Sombrero Can Alter Personalities

Feeling bad for not posting on this blog, I thought I'd make the one time I do post really count. So here it is: the real ASCAP. Someone more computer-savvy than I can photo shop a sombrero onto my head. Also, has anyone else noticed that ASCAP contains the same letters as the animal protection agency, the ASPCA? . . . Hmm, maybe there are some parallels. Any ideas?

And this is me at Carnegie hall in NYC, standing next to Benny Goodman's clarinet. One of those lofty ambitions. . . .

Today I practiced being a pariah

Today my life flashed before my eyes.
A) I was laughing the whole time.
B) I was void of emotion.

Okay, but really, pretty soon pariahs, pariah glasses, 'pariahs and cream', and the Gettysburg address are all going to be so popular that we will have inadvertently changed the definition of "pariah".

PS-Everyone bring your pariah sunglasses to the music theory test. And wear pink.

Oh. He was right.

This was found on our AP music review sheet.
Plus, yesterday on Mythbusters Jamie said, "Simple is always better." Obviously if the Mythbusters say it, it must be true. So, I would like to publicly apologize for all of my unbelief/snide comments on the subject of simplicity.

I'm done.

I really don't think I can be a part of this blog anymore. Please take me off as soon as you can.

I love you all,

but will anyone be really offended if I delete all those comments that are becoming quite controversial?

Guess Who?

Guess who this is and don't say Tinkerbell. We all know her. The winner gets a pat on the back.

I couldn't really resist.

"He's so attractive when he's murderous."

Mr. Lyon, will you tell us what is wrong with your face?

I don't really have much to say, but I felt like ASCAP was heading toward the pariah closet.

I am SO excited for band tour, and Mr. Lyon is SO going down. He thinks he's going to get us somehow...it's either going to be A) really lame (I hope that word doesn't offend you guys), or it's going to be B) so surprising and out of nowhere that we'll be taking little pictures of each other's tear stained faces.

And wow, he has such a cute stature. Am I right?

Something we found in Salt Lake...

Ok, if there were lots of awesome posts going on, I would feel bad about posting this silly thing. But anyway, In Salt Lake, I grabbed a poster off of a pole. I didn't even know what it was for. But guess what. I was reading LeggyK's blog, and from there went to "The President"'s blog (I think he should have said dictator) and on one of those posts there was a comment from this random lady, and (I can tell you're wondering where I'm going with this) and there was a picture of that poster on that blog! Talk about crazy...Ok, maybe not that crazy, because it looks like the random lady actually knows "The President"... is that his sister? oh well, still a coincidence. So here it is.

Sir Clark And ASCAP

So, in honor of my first post on this blog, despite being on it since it was created, I decided I would do something a little bit awesome. Here goes. In a math formula:

PLUS

EQUALS

Is that not the greatest thing you've ever seen? I used to think that people didn't look good in sombreros, but Sir Clark pulls it off with aplomb. I think that guy looks great in just about anything though. Being around as long as he has, what with being one of the Three Nephites and all, he must have picked up some great fashion sense somewhere. Which he obviously did. SIR CLARK ROCKS!!!

Spark of Creation

So, this is my first blog contribution. Talk about tardy. Well, my rationalization for the delay is that I'm not bright enough to say anything worthwhile, and I don't have the technological savvy it requires to post pictures. But then I realized something: I don't have to come up with great things to say; I can just steal great stuff other people have said and put it on the blog! To be honest, it was an epiphany. In any event, this is one of my favorite songs ever from one of my favorite musicals ever. Both the music and words are fabulous, but you only get half of the enjoyment on this blog. So go see the show sometime if you get a chance. I love this song!

“The Spark of Creation”
From Children of Eden
I've got a itching on the tips of my fingers
I've got a burning in the back of my brain
I've got a hunger burning inside cannot be denied
I've got feeling that the Father who made us
When he was kindling a pulse in my veins
He left a tiny spark of that fire, smoldering inside
The spark of creation, is flickering within me
The spark of creation, is blazing in my blood
A bit of the fire that lit up the moon
And brought into the mud, the first inspiration
The spark creation

I see a mountain and I want to climb it
I see river and I want to leave shore
Where there was nothing let there be something, something made by me
There's things waiting for me to invent them
There's things waiting for me to explore
I am an echo of the eternal cry of
Let there be!

The spark of creation, burning bright within me
The spark of creation, won't let me rest at all
Until I discover or build or uncover
A thing that I can call, my celebration
Of the spark creation
The spark of creation, may it burn forever
The spark creation, I am a keeper of the flame
We think all we want is a lifetime of leisure
Each perfect day the same
Endless vacation

Well that's all right if you're a kind of crustacean
But when you're born with an imagination
Sooner of later you're feeling the fire getting hotter and higher
The spark of creation

A Twisted Past...

Hey! Being new, and for my lack of anything worthy to post...I decided to post this "What might have happened" for Homecoming...see if you can identify all the things I did
